She grew up in Lemhi County on a Black Angus cattle ranch. Her first job was picking rocks out of the field for her dad and feeding bulls buckets full of grain before catching the school bus. Summers were spent driving John Deere tractors, hauling hay, moving irrigation pipes by hand, and earning money for college with market 4-H and FFA steers in high school. Rachel understands the value of a hard work ethic, as well as the ins and outs of farm and ranch real estate with water rights, easements, and crop production.
Rachel went to college for marketing and communications and practiced freelance graphic design and photography for several years in Idaho and Utah. She has been a radio DJ for a few different Idaho and Utah radio stations over the last 18 years. She loves country music and currently has a hobby radio show on WKCK 101 Kickin' Kountry. Her love of country music has blessed her with the opportunity to meet several of her favorite country artists, including Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, and Lainey Wilson.
Rachel has been a licensed real estate professional since 2018, and her agricultural background, extensive travels, and large network of friends and past clients across the globe have been a great asset in the real estate business. She loves meeting new people and helping them find their next Idahome. She has experience in residential, commercial, farm and ranch, and luxury real estate, and enjoys working with both buyers and sellers.
Rachel has two teenage daughters and a mini Aussie doodle, Mia Chesney, who is the princess of the family. When Rachel is not showing property, she enjoys spending time with family, reading, hiking, traveling, attending concerts, and helping on her family's ranch. She loves cowboy boots, tacos, and soaking up sunshine on a beach, and lives by her motto: "It's a great day for a great day!"
